School Hours for 2026-27

Kindergarten

Kindergarten classes meet on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday. There are no Kindergarten classes on Thursdays, except when the early dismissal day is moved to Friday prior to major holidays.

To ensure that Kindergarten students receive the required 475 hour of instruction, they will have full day field trips or full days at school on designated days throughout the school year. 

Unfortunately, noon hour transportation is not available for kindergarten students on field trip/full days, so morning students will have to be picked up at the end of the school day and afternoon students will have to be dropped off in the morning. 

Instructional Time – Grades 1-9

Over the course of the year, we lose some instructional time on Mondays and Fridays due to long weekends or non-instructional days. To make up lost time and to ensure that we have consistent hours of instruction for all subject areas in Grades 1-9, we will run a Monday schedule on the following days.

Elementary

*The outside bell rings at  8:40 AM. At this time, students are asked to line up in homeroom groupings in their designated spots and wait for their teacher to escort them into the building. In the event of inclement or extremely cold weather, students enter the building upon arrival, where they quickly remove coats and footwear and make their way to homeroom classrooms. 

Junior High

Thursday is early dismissal day for Grades 1-9; dismissal on Thursdays is at 12:12 PM.

To provide for early dismissal before major holidays, the Thursday before Christmas Holidays and Spring Break will be a full day of instruction for students. The Friday before the holiday will be a short day, with dismissal at 12:12 PM.
